About Us

Pure Food Distillery Limited was established in November 2023. Based in New Zealand, we specialise in producing premium rice spirits (baijiu) and importing distinctive craft beers.

Our signature product, Pure Rice Baijiu, is made using traditional methods with a modern New Zealand touch. We use only three natural ingredients—Asian jasmine rice, yeast, and high-quality New Zealand spring water—to create a clean, smooth spirit with no chemical additives. This commitment to purity and quality has been recognised with awards at the NZ Spirits Awards in both 2024 and 2025.

In addition to our spirits, we are the exclusive New Zealand importer of a unique range of tea and juice craft beers from leading Chinese breweries. These beers are brewed using real tea leaves and natural ingredients, delivering a refreshing and distinctive flavour profile that stands apart from conventional products.

We are also a supplier to Foodstuffs, with our imported tea and juice craft beers available in supermarkets such as PAK’nSAVE and New World across both the North and South Island.
